the cynic speaks

Somehow, everything is pointless.

There is people, breathing, everywhere.

There are ifs, buts and butts all over the place.

Where there is room, there is air.

And where there is vacuum, there's nothing.

Everything is occupied.

Occupation of kind, of space, and of unkind.

When I type my words, they seem deranged and they are pleading to be arranged.

It's all about show time and air time.

How do we explain the occupation?

Is there any nothing left in our world so full of nothing?

Why do we do what we do?

Passion is lost in this transition. A three-year long one. I am two thirds way there.

Poetry refuses to be by me.

Time with no ticking is all I am asking for. A freeze on stage where I alone can walk.

Why can't words be beautiful again?

your words are what you let them be you and your reality is your impulse towards "now". nothing lasts for ever not even the cold november rain.. we are beings of evolution and that is what we are meant to be.. if u've lost an old dream its only because your mind has understood its Obsolescence ... do not mourn it but embrace it... it is not the strongest or the smartest that survive the longest it is the ones most susceptible to change. only mourn the day when u cannot surprise yourself anymore :)

This actually didnt sound cynical to me. Not even realistic. Another plane of thinking, I think. At a point, it comes to losing will to do anything whatsoever; and then sometimes, you even lose the will to find why you're losing the will. But because here, you do speak, and you wonder, you express... it shouldn't be bad. For now, everything is futile.
We can only wait... for time will tick.. No matter what..

Some of the most beautiful and original lines here, buddy. Very poetic voice..
"When I type my words....."
"Poetry refuses to be by me"
".... A freeze on stage where I alone can walk"

(sry... that was almost a blogpost :-|)
